SFIA
Public Skills Passport
Your Skills Passport starts here
Turn your experience into clear, credible evidence of what you can do
Build your Skills Passport against SFIA, the global skills framework used by organisations around the world. Start from your CV or add your skills yourself, see exactly where you stand, and find the next steps for your career.
Five stops on your journey
Everything saves as you go. Come back, change, add or rescore anything at any time.
Your data, your control
Your passport belongs to you
VSAP never applies for jobs on your behalf or shares your passport.
Share a read-only profile with anyone you choose, see who viewed it and revoke access at any time.
The AI Skill Inspector never sees your name, employer or job title, and saves nothing.
Optional
Get your passport verified
An Approved SFIA Consultant reviews your evidence with you. Once agreed, your passport shows Verified with their name.
It turns a self-assessment into an independent, evidenced record for a promotion, a new role or a pay review.
One-off fee of £300 including VAT.
1. Sign up
Create your account in a couple of minutes. No employer needed. Your passport belongs to you and goes with you from job to job, so the evidence of what you can do is never lost.
2. Build your passport
Pick your SFIA level, let AI scan your CV or a job description, and choose your skills. In minutes you have a clear, recognised picture of what you do, described in the international language employers use.
3. Score your skills
Rate each skill against SFIA's own words, add evidence of what you did, and add your technical skills. You see exactly where you are strong and where the gaps are, backed by real examples rather than claims.
4. Plan your route
Choose a dream job and the steps to reach it. VSAP suggests roles in between for bigger moves. You get a realistic, year-by-year route, so you know which skills to build next and why.
5. Keep growing
Work on one skill at a time: learn with free courses, show your evidence and prove it. Your passport grows with you, ready for your next job, promotion or conversation about pay.
